Honeymoon week. Outstanding! What a wonderful place. If your looking for a 5-star luxury hotel with all the bells and whistles then this is not for you. But if you want a more clean Zen type natural experience, you’re in the right place. Small and intimate, and what really makes the place so special is the Staff! Ilse and Pia are what makes this place tick. They are the heart and soul of Ocho! Ocho is very relaxing, cozy, with exotic plant life all around and outdoor seating areas, hammocks, and a central bar next to a natural pool overlooking the beach.The pool area has multiple lounge beds on little platforms.

Ocho is a little piece of heaven for me. I visited about a year ago, and came back this year with more friends, all of whom loved the property. The property is the best I’ve seen in Tamarindo. Its absolutely gorgeous. Everything is clean and lovingly cared for. The foliage and pool are stunning. And the property is literally steps away from the beach. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio, or by the pool. The drinks at the bar were tasty. (get the frozen Mojito). A special thanks to Ilse, Pia, and Shon. You guys have become friends. Thanks for all you did to make my friends and I have great experience there. Everyone loved it. The personal service at Ocho is second to none. I can’t wait to come back .
